who in the past Portrait courses assigned to me, knows how important to me is the communication between photographer and model - Martin. I think that this interaction is important for a lot than any camera or lighting technique.
is clear to me, however, that even beginners, are very uncertain about their recording techniques. Since it is naturally difficult to adjust to any focus on other things. Ideally, the camera and where possible the lighting have been completely automated, so that we can concentrate on working with the model.
But you can also organize models that take a not bad, if incurred at the end no good pictures. The best even those models where we can focus purely on facial expression and the right timing for recording. Only: How should such a model for? Eg like this:
My little nephew, which kept his mother on her lap, and we placed about 1m from a large window. Through this positioning, the exposure had to be tested only once and then transferred into the manual mode. Done. No thought had to be wasted on the camera or lighting technique! All I had to do was to amuse the little ones at the right time to pull the trigger!
So grab a small child around you, sit down at a large window and just go! There is no better training in order to find the right moment of release ...

but once on the picture above to see it on a larger scale! It's worth it!
